Missions Prayer
Part of our conviction is that every follower of Jesus will either be a Goer or a Sender. A Goer is someone who sees the plight of people with no access to the gospel, and who is called by Jesus to bring the gospel to these unreached people. A Sender is someone who supports Goers with email, prayer, and finances.
One way we help Senders pray is by gathering on the third Thursday night of every month for Missions Prayer. We meet at the home of Dave and Lisa Strouss, starting at 6:30 with a potluck dinner, and then at 7:30 moving into a time where we hear about recent developments in the lives of our missionaries, and then move into earnest prayer for them. We wrap up by 8:30 or 9:00.
